About the Position
We are seeking an OpenShift Platform Consultant with experience in the administration, operation, and evolution of Red Hat OpenShift platforms, focused on managing workloads in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The role will focus on the administration and stabilization of OpenShift clusters, workload migration between environments, deployment automation, and centralized multi-cluster management.
We are looking for candidates with knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, and container technologies.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Perform troubleshooting, incident analysis, and stabilization of OpenShift environments.
- Participate in the migration and movement of workloads between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Administer OpenShift platforms within hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
- Manage multiple clusters using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
- Implement and manage security controls using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS).
- Automate and manage deployments using OpenShift GitOps / Argo CD.
- Work with managed OpenShift cloud services, including:
- Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
- Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
- Participate in cluster configuration, updates, maintenance, and optimization tasks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure proper platform operation.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Experience working with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Knowledge of OpenShift cluster administration and operations.
- Experience or knowledge regarding hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
- Knowledge of workload migration and movement between different environments.
- Experience or knowledge in:
- Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
- Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS).
- OpenShift GitOps / Argo CD.
- Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
- Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose platform issues.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and container technologies.
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
